This cache is located in the lovely Oakwood Cemetery in
Syracuse, NY. It is placed in a very respectful spot, far away from
any graves or roads. As a matter of fact, it’s at the top of
a rather sizable hill in the cemetery, which provides a great view
of the cemetery and the surrounding city.
This would be an excellent spot to see a sunset or sunrise, but
be aware that a lot of bushwhacking is necessary in order to get
to the top, by almost every approach. Be prepared for many burs and
sharp pokey plants of almost every sort, and some relatively
unstable ground. Of course, this cache was no problem for three
sleepy college kids to place at 7 AM, so it can’t be that
hard. Be sure to leave the cache hidden as well as you found it.
The cache container is a 50cal ammo can. This a decent sized cache
so the pizes dont have to be very small. The Cache has lots of cool
