Park at the Fox Rocks parking spot on the west side of North Haven Road. When you enter the trail on the East side of the road proceed on the Indian Ladder trail and not the Fox Rocks trail.
This is an easy beginner cache planted especially for children under 7 or 8 years old. It's just a short hike off the road and while the terrain is somewhat rocky it should be easy for kids as young as 4 to hike to with help.
This is a clear plastic container with blue top. It has the words Fox Rocks Geocache on top. There are numerous small items all purchased from Go Fish in downtown Vinalhaven. Erasers, windup fish and small horse. Of course there is a log book and pencil as well as a $1 bill.
