Geocache Description:

Cache placed on volcanic peak next to a pass in the Chuska mountains, scenic views, 9200 foot altitude.

This geocache calls for a straightforward but rigorous approach. One should be able to locate the cache with a little work any time of year. The container itself is a ammo box painted gray wedged between two rocks.

This is a beautiful area and is across from a great place to go sledding/skiing in winter. Bring your toboggans and tubes!

Once you have found the cache you should continue on up a little more to the top! Awesome 4 state / 7 mountain range views.

Let me know what shape the cache is in!

Note- this lies at the top of a 30' bluff (not at the bottom). Also, the 'easy way out' is to continue up over the top of the peak (walk around and enjoy the view), and take a long counter-clockwise spiral back down.

You should go to this website, read it and follow all rules- it's part of the challenge of this cache!: http://www.navajonationparks.org/permits.htm Thanks.

. To Claim this cache - please post a photo of yourself at cache site!
