Thornholme Rocks Traditional Cache
The PITZ: Been out collecting all the cache containers this morning as I've decided to Archive the series.
Various TB's etc did visit as well.

The road to Thornholme Farm via either Calderbridge or the Cold Fell Road is narrow & twisty, please drive carefully. Parking is available at N54 27.895 W003 26.493.
This cache is placed on a well marked track from Thornholme to Scalderscew Forest or vice versa. It is just off the track in amongst a small pile of stones. It can be done as an extension to our Blengdale Forest caches for those of you fancying a longer walk out. It is a child friendly route but not for prams as there is a gill, beck, stream to cross on this route.
The container is cylindrical and waterproof with log book, pencil, sharpener & rubber not to be removed from the cache. There is a token gesture FTF & kiddie swaps.
We have permission from the landowner for the placement of this cache so please do not drop any litter, please keep dogs on leads as there is livestock about & please close gates after you.
