Designated parking for Pine Hills Park is at N39° 21.322', W084° 18.149'. Cross the dam and go west and then north along the west boundary of the park.
This cache is located in a wooded section of Pine Hills Park in Mason, OH. This is our first hide, as we've taken the advice of many and tried to log many finds before we hid our own. There are numerous mulch-covered trails throughout this section of the park with some other "evolved" trails that are narrower and not mulch-covered. We think these take you to some of the best spots in the park. We placed this cache to lead you to a cool spot near an area known locally as the "Land of the Lost". Container is a sealed black plastic bottle. Bring your own pen. Please hide it well since this site has been muggled several times. Alternate parking at the Mason Community Center with two different routes to the GZ. Shortest is to park in the NE corner of the lot, opposite the fire hydrant, cross the road, and walk past the hydrant down a short trail into the park. The other way is to park in the smaller lot a little south on Foxfield. Cross the street, start down the paved path but when it bears to the right stay headed north along the boundary fence. None of the above require climbing the steep hill near the GZ but watch out for the cliff.
