With the sea in front, and Butterfly Creek behind, Admirals View seemed an appropriate name for this cache. This spot affords some great views of Wellington Harbour, and is a good excuse to stop for a breather, being about halfway to Butterfly Creek.
There are some nice tracks in the area behind Eastbourne, and we trust this cache provides another excuse to explore the local environment. The cache can be reached from the Kowhai Street track as well as the Korohiwa Bay (Bus Barn) track. For a longer outing you could also reach it from the Muritai Park and McKenzie Road tracks as well. Make sure you pick up the other caches in the area while you are here.
