Welcome to Corowa Pioneer Cemetery. Take the time to stroll the grounds – the older graves are towards the rear of the cemetery.
The Old Corowa Cemetery offers an interesting look at Corowa's pioneering heritage. The oldest grave is that of Andrew Hume (dated 1859), the nephew of explorer Hamilton Hume, while those of other pioneers and historical figures including George Rutherford from Peechelba Station - the man responsible for ambushing and shooting the Bushranger 'Mad Dog' Dan Morgan- are also located within the cemetery. GZ is very close to where Hamilton Hume and his mother are buried. Cache is a small sistema container and will accommodate a number of small swaps. There is a FTF prize. Best of luck & happy caching.
