A magnetic micro marking the end of the Lavender Line
The Lavender Line is one of the shortest working steam railways I have ever seen. It is about one mile long and ends abruptly where the original railway crossed the River Uck.
It has steam trains running on Saturdays and Sundays in the summer. You may even be lucky enough to see a train at the end of the line.
The river is quite deep here so keep children close by.
THERE IS NO NEED TO GET UP ON TO THE BRIDGE TO RETRIEVE THE CACHE.
The cache requires a bit of a stretch if you are vertically challenged but I am only 5ft 6" and can reach it easily.
