Geocache Description:

**SAVE THE DATE**
It's gonna be fun!

Meet with friends and fellow cachers from all across the area as we celebrate the beautiful Autumn weather and the fellowship of geocaching.

Button Bay provides a picturesque backdrop for games, good food, prizes, socialization and...oh yeah..a few caches too

I am happy to announce that in addition to some of the usual activities, Brenda of Wheels15 will have a table set up where she will be showing us ''less talented" artists how to paint her famous "Brenda Stones". There will be a craft table for D-I-Y Swag)

We will be aknowledging geocaching milestones and maybe even a non-caching milestone as well. PLEASE notify me in advance if you will be celebrating a milestone, I would love to be able to have something prepared in advance.

SCHEDULE---
Those who want to can meet at 10:00 at the given coordinates which is the pavillion. We will have coffee and pastries. I will distribute the cache location sheets and you are free to go seek them then or wait till after lunch.

We will eat lunch around 12:30.

At approximately 1:30 we will acknowledge milestones, give raffle prizes, and announce winners of the photo and annual voting competition (Details below).

After that you can either stay and socialize, or go caching, or go home! We have the pavillion till sunset. There is a playground for geomonkeys beside the pavillion. The place is nice enough to just make a day of picnicking with your family.

COMPETITIONS---
As we have done in the last 4 years we will be voting on categories.
This year's categories are:

1. Most Devious Hide of the year (This is just one particular hide that either drove you nuts or was super clever)
WINNER WAS "MUD POND--DON'T FORGET THE OTHERS" BY VT_EMT & CATOZ

2. Puzzler of the Year (this doesn't necessarily have to be the most prolific puzzler, just the puzzler who you thought put out the most fun or ingenious puzzle)**a tie**
PUZZLER== Dewey Double D
PUZZLE=="UNGUARDED by CHRISNIC

3. AllStar Geocacher (this person exemplifies good sporstmanship, is willing to help others, and does his/her part to promote the positive aspects of geocaching. Past Winners of this award are:
DJ & CAL
QSeekers
Roostersting
Zebra Girl

WINNER FOR 2010== LONESTARR
Runner-up MWEIN

PLEASE START VOTING AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. JUST SEND ME AN EMAIL WITH YOUR PICKS. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO VOTE ON EVERY CATEGORY..(e.g., some people don't do puzzles and therefore wouldn't have an opinion)

And finally we will have a photo contest:

ANIMAL PHOTO CONTEST--If you can't print out your photo, please send it to me and I will print it for you. Otherwise, bring your photo that day. WINNER=COCO THE GEODOG who caches with SCUBA TIME

WILDLIFE CATEGORY-Bring up to 2 photos of wildlife you saw while geocaching. We have all seen cool critters while out there, Bring in up to 2 photos of wildlife.
**a tie** between DEER by (?) and SNAKES by CAL

DOG CATEGORY--Bring up to 2 pics of a geodog. Lots of cachers have geodogs, so let's see those interesting pictures. It can be your dog or someone elses as long as it was caching.

And speaking of dogs, please visit the Button Bay website (visit link) for more details of where your animal is allowed. I will also be passing out maps of the park with clear guielines. This is not the most dog-friendly place we have ever been. Dogs are allowed at the Pavillion (supposedly on leashes)and in most places i have hidden caches. I think there is only one cache in a "no-dog" area.

FINALLY---there is a $2 fee to get in the park. Just tell them at the gate that you are with the Zebra Girl Geocaching Party and they will let you in. I will have a can placed at the event for $2 donations.

Please RSVP sooner rather than later as I have plans to make. Also state what food item you will be bringing and whether or not you will donate a prize to the raffle..Prizes are not required--but food is greatly appreciated

THANKS---THIS IS GONNA BE SO FUN! Bring your muggle friends, your neighbors, your family --all are welcome.
