Andalusite: This cache has been disabled for some time and as the owner has not repaired/replaced it nor logged in to GC.com since February , I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

Geocache Description:

Traditional cache on Montgomery canal. Nice walk and an easy find.

The cache is located on the Montgomery canal between the village of Berriew and the town of Welshpool. Parking is available in Berriew near the local football team and by the sculpture museum.
The cache is a small sized click lock tub and is crammed full of swaps, the geokids TB's and a FTF trophy. The name of the cache is from my mom who introduced us to Berriew and who makes regular trips here to borrow fruit for her homemade jam! Look out for some lovely wildlife and a great echo spot for the kids. Get on the canal and head towards Welshpool...the first bridge is number 128!!
