Another of my caches placed along the Stourbridge Canal, Near to Wordsley Junction and the River Stour Aqueduct.
The branch of the canal to the east leads to Stourbridge town, the Bonded Warehouse and the Stour Valley walk.
The narrow length of canal under the bridge was a gauging stop and toll office where a boat’s load was calculated in order to charge the correct toll.
The cache is a 4 inch magnetic tube containing a logbook only.
This is a HIGH MUGGLE AREA so you will have to use great stealth and please re-hide the cache well.
Suggested parking in Kinver Street adjacent to playing fields.
