Geocache Description:


This is a small container placed near to the Nature Discovery Centre(no admission charge) a good place to visit and find out what's happenening locally in the natural world.A good place to do a bit of birdwatching on the former gravel pit-usually at least 10 different bird species on the water and a walk around the lake can produce on average list of 20-25 species, sometimes more in Spring.There are a nice play parks for children of all ages and there is a cafe within the centre.

Bring a pencil or writing implement to sign in and a pair of tweezers or similar to extract log
