We had the pleasure of meeting ttomw on an organized cache run
of Grandzero's in Canandaigua. Seven of us showed up on an
extremely cold February morning [17 degrees with a windchill
bringing it down to 9 degrees]. After meeting, we broke up into two
cars and Abbybeth and I set out with ttomw. He had the joy of
sitting in the back seat and listen to our craziness for 9 hours
straight. We assume he enjoyed it or at least thought it was
entertaining as he still converses with us in public. 
This cache is to celebrate ttomw's 2000th find! He's been
caching since 2003 and can often be found with jfw26, wife-C, or
Abby the geo-pup. When you talk with him you know how much he
enjoys the company of Abby, his brother, and wife. Although we
don't have an exact count we know Abby's done many with him. His
logs are short and simple and often read: Out for the day caching
with jfw26 and Abby the geo-pup. It doesn't really speak of the
adventures he's had caching, but if you talk with him you know
there was a lot more going on than the log reads.
He's a quiet guy with a great sense of humor and a kind heart.
He became doxietrekkers4 hero at WTH #12 when he noticed us arrive
on scene completely unprepared to search for a challenge cache in
the dark. There is no way we would have found the cache if it
weren't for that generous offer and luminous light as we would
still be looking for it today!
Ttomw would have preferred a medium hike and as things go this
golden has found previous homes which were under the .1 for unknown
multi's and puzzles that start outside of the park. Although the
golden has since been on a long hike, it should only be a short
hike to find. If you'd like a long hike, we'd suggest the yellow to
red trail. We now present the .50 cal golden ammo can. You will
find super hero band aids, and a super hero cool pack as well as
some items appropriate for dog lovers. Abbybeth just wanted to sign
as she was on site for the hide. Let's see who gets FTF!
