Geocache Description:

Take a short walk around the nature trail at Donald Robertson Park in Wood Village.

This easy geocache was made for kids, by kids that love to go to the park. Play on the playground and take a walk with the family.

The walk to the cache is very short and easy.

Stop and sit on the bench. Check the "hints/spoiler info" if you want the easy details of it's location.

The park is open from 8am - Dusk.
The parking lot entrance is on Halsey St, just West of McMenamins Edgefield.
Dogs are permitted on a leash only, but not in the playground.

The nature trail is paved with cedar bark shreds and well maintained, it winds through the park making a nice 1/4 circle around the sports fields.

For a slightly longer, but much more fun walk... You can also follow another path of the nature trail south another 1/4 mile, up the hill and to the Cherry Park strip mall. (Safeway, McDonalds, Library) There is another Geocache up the hill, and the stop at McDonalds for sundaes is a great treat! Along the way you'll encounter several marker stones for native plant and tree species as well as pass by Arata Creek twice. Several resting benches are located along the way in great spots to sit and relax.
