Right of the Hwy just a short walk on a paved trail. The walk is very easy and the views make it worthwhile.
This is a very nice place to stop and take a break on the way over Sherman Pass. It's always nice up there in the summer with tempertures 10 degrees cooler then the valleys and there always seems to be a nice breeze.
Pull off the Hwy 20 into Sherman Overlook and take the Interpetive Trail. Don't pull off on the corner make sure to pull into the camping and picnic area. The Cache is only a little ways down the trail.
The cache is a ammo can. There is plenty of room to trade items.
First Time Finder prize included.
The walk is very easy but the ammo can might be a little tough to find. After you find it please rehide it as well as you found it.
The Hint gives it away so please look first before decoding.
