Located on an island in WHITE IRON LAKE near Ely, MN. Water access only from public water access, unless you live or vacation on the lake. Mainly for CANOES and KAYAKS due to shallow water access. You are on your own if you come with a motor craft.BYOP

I placed this cache as requested by kayak cacher friends- especially for Aix Sponsa and Esko Climber.
WEAR FOOT PROTECTION that can not be sucked off by the mud that is under the water at the landing site. Do not go barefoot.
There is a small island in front of the entry area that has a nice pull up spot where you can rest or have a picnic or maybe even fish and swim.
