Geocache Description:

This is the second of a series of a 7 cache loop. The first 6 are traditional caches, with each of these holding a clue to the name and the location of a seventh mystery bonus cache.
It is recommended that the series be done in order from 1-7, as short-cuts may lead to confusion and delay, possibly involving barbed wire. In general the footpaths used in this series are in relatively good condition, though in a few places they can get quite overgrown so watch out for spiky plants and stingers.

This series of 7 caches is based on the Little Bird’s love of all things Pokemon. It is her dearest wish to become a Pokemon master and spend her life hunting the world for these ‘pocket monsters’, so it was natural that for our first ever cache series she would choose a Pokemon theme and invite others to ‘Catch Them All’ too.
She has chosen a specific Pokemon to ‘live’ in each cache location ready to be captured and trained by all you budding Caching Masters, so pay attention to the description of the little creatures as clues to their likely locations may be found in mentions of their favoured habitats and behaviour!

The Pokemon at this location is a Squirtle.
Squirtles are water-type pokemon. They look like small blue turtles and use their ability to withdraw into their shells for defence. They are very rapid swimmers and can attack foes by spraying water from their mouths ie. Water Gun or Hydro Pump.
They are mainly domesticated, but when found in the wild are usually living in small bodies of fresh water.

Squirtle's cache is a black, oblong container with a lock 'n' lock lid. as well as the second clue to the bonus mystery cache, it contains on activation a logbook and pencil in a plastic bag, First To Find and Second To Find reward cards and a number of swaps including a Pokemon trading card.
