The cache is situated in the grounds of the National Coal Mining Museum for England midway between Huddersfield and Wakefield on the A642
The museum is open from 10.00am to 5.00 pm.(4:00pm in winter) Wednesday to Sunday except for 25th and 26th December and 1st January.
It provides a fascinating insight into the history of coal mining brought to life through interactive exhibitions and displays and you can even take an underground tour all FREE of charge!

This cache can be done as an extension to Caphouse Capers - Going Underground cache (GCG2D4)
After Caphouse Capers - Going Underground continue your stroll along the nature trail which is ok for buggies and then up the steps to a picnic area overlooking the reed beds and bird hides ... be careful you're not being watched ;-)
