Cachen ligger rett ved det som i dag er et utkikkspunkt, men som før var det ene endepunktet til Årnesbrua. Den andre enden kan tydelig sees på den andre siden av elva.
Bautaen på plassen er satt opp til minne om nesbuene som mistet livet under andre verdenskrig. Idag blir det holdt taler og sunget nasjonalsang på 17.Mai.

The cache is located right next to what today is a lookout point, but used to be one of the end points of Årnes bridge. The other end can be clearly seen on the other side of the river.
The monument was erected in memory of nesbuene (People from Nes) who lost their lives during World War II. Today there will be speeches and singing of the national anthem on the 17th of May
