GRAAG GOED LEZEN: ALLEEN DE ACHTERKANT VAN DE CACHE KAN OPEN, BIJ HET RODE DOPJE! (BVD. Bassischool St. Jan staat aan de rand van de vooroorlogse wijk de Noork.
Primary school St Jan stand to the edge of the prewar district the Noork.
De vroegere jongensschool St. Jan (linkerkant van het gebouw) en het meisjesgedeelte dat Mariaschool heette waren vroeger gescheiden. Te midden van beide scholen was een gezamenlijke gymzaal. In de jaren 60 zijn de scholen samengevoegd en zijn verder gegaan onder de naam R.K. Basisschool St. Jan.
In de jaren 90 waren er te weinig kinderen voor een school van dit formaat. De St. Janschool heeft het vroegere meisjesschool af moeten stoten. Tot 2009 hebben hier kantoren van diverse stichtingen in gezeten. Medio 2010 is de St. Jan weer één volledig gebouw, geheel gerenoveerd. Hersteld in het oude karakter van 1930 met de mogelijkheden en luxe van nu. Het 80-jarige bestaan van de St. Jan wordt bekroond met een heuse cache.

Deze cache is prima met de auto te bereiken, houdt u alstublieft rekening met het ‘eenrichtingsverkeer’ van de straat waar u rijdt.
Wanneer u niet in het weekend of in schoolvakanties komt cashen is het aan te raden rekening te houden met de drukte die er rond de schooltijden is (8.30h - 14.15h).
Houdt ook rekening met spelende kinderen en hun ouders wanneer u de cache tevoorschijn haalt.
U kunt in het pad links!! naast de cache rustig loggen. Ik zie veel mensen het rechter gangpad kiezen, maar die kant is veel gevoeler voor dreuzels. Links doorlopen tot de poort is geen probleem.
Plaats voor TB en veel kleine goodies.

The former boy school St. Jan (left-hand side of the building) and the girls-part which Mariaschool was called, were seperated in former days. Between both schools there was a common location for gymnastics. In 1960s the schools have been combined and have further gone under the name R.K. Primary school St. Jan.
In 1990s there were too few children for a school of this format. Primary school St. Jan had to repulse former girls' school. Up to 2009 here offices of several foundations took place in that part of the building. In the middle of 2010 the primaryschool children of St. Jan are using the whole building again, whole renovated. Repaired in the old character of 1930 with the possibilities and luxuriously of now. The 80st Birthday of this building is rewarded with this cache.

This cache you can reach very well by car, please take attention of the the `one-way traffic of the street where you drive.
When you do not visit St. Jan in the weekend or in school holidays beware of children and their parents. Schooltimes are; 8.30h 14.15h.
Keep attention with playing children and muggles when you catch the cache. You can log quietly in the path left beside the cache.
Place for small TB’s and a lot of goodies.
