Time Stopped Here Traditional Cache

A geocache located near the Northwest Flight 255 Memorial. No nearby parking, it is a bit of a walk and a climb to view the memorial dedicated to those who died in the crash of Northwest Airlines flight 255, August 16th, 1987.
There is another geocache dedicated to the crash as well :
GC3TN7T - “SQ - Remembering Flight 255” Where many of the passengers are buried.
The cache does move from time to time for trim trimming. This geocache is located near I-94 and Middlebelt Road. Please do not stop/park on the freeway to access the geocache.
No legal parking on Middlebelt either in the area of the geocache. Parking available at a few commercial facilities near Middlebelt and Wick Road. Be prepared for a walk and a bit of a hill climb to reach the geocache. Well worth a visit to reflect on the event and our day to day lives. Take the time to read the names and the inscriptions found on the monument.
