This log ONLY cache is located at the Lone Pine Trailhead for the Maverick Motorized Trail, a 50 mile long OHV trail that starts in Clay Springs and ends in Pinetop
You don’t need an OHV to find this cache. It is located near a staging area for the Maverick Trail. If you have an OHV and want to ride this trail, you can get a map at the Black Mesa Ranger District Office in Heber or the Lakeside Ranger District Office in Lakeside. The trail is well marked and suitable for all riders. The staging area is located off of paved Lone Pine Dam Road, which can be accessed from either SR 260 or SR 77. The staging location can be reached by all types of vehicles, including large RVs. You’re looking for a match holder that is well disguised.
