Between Hazlehead Park and Hazlehead Golf Course there was once a caravan site. The Bridle Path leads from there to Hazlehead Golf Course Club House
This is now a children's play area, however as its alongside the far busier Hazlehead Park, its generally very quiet. As its so quiet my girls always call it "secret swings", as no-one else ever seems to be there, making it ideal for playing with little ones. The cache is hidden about 300yards from here in the wooded area, which is very popular with dog walkers. The bridle path leads up the side of "secret swings" up to the golf course club house.
This is a fairly large cache in the scheme of things - I cache with a baby in a pram and 2 little girls, and they are excited about finding caches but generally fail to find the tiny ones - so we made this one child friendly. It contains a couple of coins, some pencils and a small figure for swapping.
