Le Pouce mountain is one of the most accessible and easiest hike in Mauritius. It is a must-go destination for all hiking lovers who come to Mauritius.
If you wish to find the cache quickly I recommend you the ascent from Petit Verger - Saint Pierre instead from Tranquebar - Port Louis.
On your way up, you may find a sign post informing about the rock fall that happened during the month of April 2018. The rock fall happened ahead of the cache location. Anyway be vigilant and at your own risk.
