Geocache Description:


Richland Players - 1944 Richland's first theater opened in 1944. The theater was operated by the Midstate Amusement Company, as was its identical companion, the Village Theater (now considerably altered) at 710 George Washington Way which opened in 1945. The theaters were built to seat 526 people on one level. The second floor contained an apartment for the manger, as well as the theater office and ushers' room.
