Geocache Description:


Glencorse Old Kirk dates back to the 17th century and the famous Scottish writer Robert Louis Stevenson worshiped there and indeed wrote about the Kirk and its woodland setting on a number of occasions. If my spirit returns to earth it will be found wandering through Glencorse Woods or sitting on the old bridge at Glencorse Kirk, the finest spot on earth. The Kirk holds approximately 130 people and has been carefully and beautifully restored to make it into a very private and intimate venue for a wedding ceremony.
