This is the last of 6 caches on a 3-mile loop that starts and ends at the Reservoir #6 parking area in West Hartford, CT. (The third - Electric TB Hotel - is a members-only listing...join geocaching.com today!)
The round trip is moderately strenuous as you will ascend 300-400 feet but it follows the trail the entire time. Give yourself about 2 hours to find all six. (All MDC Reservoir areas open daily at sunrise and close 1/2 hour after sunset.) Also, the middle of the loop is quite overgrown in summer so you should probably wear pants.
A slim, green ammo box.
Proceeding down the trail for 6-8 minutes, you should arrive back at the Reservoir a 1/2 mile from the parking area.
