Airport Cache Traditional Cache

Small cache, in camouflaged plastic container with a screw cap. Presently contains a log book only but has space for small items and TBs.
This one is an easy park and grab, but does require a very short walk across a field, no bushwacking.
There is plenty of off road parking.
For bikers (pedal type) this cache is located just a short distance north from the east end (Lore City Park) of the Guernsey Bike Trail and will make a nice addition to the caches located on the trail.
Many years ago, there was a grass strip runway airport at this location for small single engine airplanes. Mostly Piper Cubs, Cessena 150's.
I recall seeing the planes on the field as we drove by, but as a child never got to see them up close.
Inside the building there are photographs on the wall of some of the planes and the hangar.
I specifically recall the yellow Piper Cub, which I think belonged to the owner.
Please replace the container carefully.
I did take a ride in a Piper Cub later from the old airport a few miles away on US Route 40 (behind where the Casa Loma was, and later obtained my private pilot's license.
