Geocache Description:

I am not sure why, but the Neuse River stays muddy a good part of the time. It seems like the only time it clears up is when we have had no rain for a while. I have enjoyed fishing the river over the years and their is some pretty places up and down it. They have taken the dams out and it seems like when the river gots to flowing slow enough to fish it is to low to move a boat up and down it. While you are there take a look and see if the river is clear. It sure is pretty when it is.
