Being an ex welsh soldier living in essex i thought i would give you a puzzle to solve!

The telegraph Morse code is a method of transmitting textual information as a series of on-off tones, lights, or clicks that can be directly understood by a skilled listener or observer without special equipment. The International Morse Code encodes the Roman alphabet, the Arabic numerals and a small set of punctuation and procedural signals as standardized sequences of short and long "dots" and "dashes" (or "dits" and "dahs"). Because most natural languages (unlike English) use more than the 26 Roman letters, extensions to the Morse alphabet exist for those languages.

The Welsh Guards was raised on 26 February 1915 by order of King George V, in order to complete the national complement of regiments of Foot Guards identified with the countries of the United Kingdom. The wide range of recent activities undertaken by the Welsh Guards reflects the busy and varied nature of the modern day British Army. A Guardsman who has served with the Battalion since 2002 will have been on operations in every calendar year. Tours to Bosnia, Kosovo, Northern Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan, interspersed with fire fighting, sport, adventurous training and State Ceremonial and Public Duties demonstrate the busy nature of this period. As a Foot Guards Regiment in the Household Division, the Welsh Guards are proud to provide the guard for Her Majesty the Queen at her royal residences. When carrying out these duties the Battalion is based in central London. The Regiment is currently based in Lille Barracks, Adershot and comes under 19 Light Brigade
