Our original cache was archived 5 years ago after being muggled so many times. We loved this cache and wanted to bring it back. Hopefully the mugglers have grown up or moved away.
This cache is hidden on one of the busy walking/biking trails through Johnson County. Please be discreet! Watch out for bikes and deer.
You can enter the trail at many points in Johnson County. The closest parking to the cache is in the neighborhoods at N38 54.172 W094 44.375 and N38 54.063 W094 43.970. Do not attempt to find this cache in the rain or shortly after a heavy rain. While the cache is not in danger of being washed away, the trail does get over run with water in some areas.
You will not have to leave the paved trail until the last 15 feet.
The actual cache is small (an 18 oz peanut butter jar), so bring tiny treasures to exchange. Original contents of the cache are tiny toys. The cache is hidden in plain sight, but camouflaged a bit. :)
If interested, check out the wonderful Sycamore tree at N38 54.071 W094 44.239
