In New England, there are many small family plots that grew into town cemeteries. You never know where you are going to see one by the side of the road. Some people feel these are haunted, but I believe that they are actually beautiful places. Generally out of the way, but in locations that have beautiful views, if you look, as well as interesting carvings on the stones. If you look around at the markers, please be respectful of the area.
