A Monument plaque for Francis Tapley Hawson. THIS IS NOT ON PRIVATE PROPERTY. The neighbour is aware of the cache.
After Completing Hawson Park (GCWAT8). I knew that there was more to this history. So I thought that i would finish the story. After Francis Tapley Hawson was speared by the local aboriginals at the location of GCWAT8, at the age of twelve. He was taken to the local doctor and sadly died 2 days later on 5th October 1840. This GZ is the location of his original Burial site. He was buried at this location, as they believe that this was part of their property. His remains have since been moved and interred in what is now know as Hawson Square (GC2CJGH).
