La chapelle St Laurent fut construite en 1858 et les extérieurs restaurés en 2004. Une nouvelle cloche, réalisée par la fonderie d’art de Carcés, a été posée. Les anciens de Sillans racontent que la cloche de la chapelle était utilisée pour avertir les Sillanais en cas de feu de forêt.
La chapelle Saint Laurent se tient sur une butte voisine du village et de son arrière il y a une belle vue sur le village et les environs.
Une grosse pierre posée à proximité intrigue le visiteur. Il s'agit d'un contrepoids de pressoir à huile ou à vin appartenant à la villa gallo-romaine du Bastidon, située à proximité. Les habitants de Sillans ont d'autres versions plus poétiques et surtout romancées.
Continuez le sentier et vous découvrirez un abri abandonné puis 2 stèles le long de ce sentier, ces stèles commémorent l'assassinat de deux militaires français par les nazis en août 1944.

The Chapel of St Lawrence were built in 1858 and the exterior restored in 2004. A new bell, made by the foundry art of Carcés, was raised. The former inhabitants of Sillans say that the bell of the chapel was used to warn if Sillans wildfire.
The chapel of St Lawrence stands on a mound near the village and its hinterland has a beautiful view over the town and the surrounding area.
A large stone placed near intrigue the visitor. This is a counterweight oil press or wine belonging to the Gallo-Roman Bastidon, located nearby. The Sillans's residents have other versions most poetic and most romanticized.
Continue along the path and you will discover an abandoned shelter and then 2 stelae along this path, stelae which commemorate the assassination of two French soldiers by the Nazis in August 1944.
