This is the seven cousin's favorite cooling-off spot on the Jersey Shore after going to the beach. Be sure to bring some money for outstanding iced refreshments. Callie, Isabelle, Zoe, Cece, Adam, Jojo, and Aaron all get together for their annual Jersey Shore vacation from all over the U.S. This is a cache describing one of the things they look forward to the most. The cache is in a waterproof cannister. Who knows what lies inside now. Bring your own pen to write in the logbook!
Begin at the coordinates given and do the following: Obtain the numerical address of the Avon Pavillion. Hurricance Sandy upended the Pavillion in the Fall of 2012. The Avon Pavillion and boardwalk have been rebuilt. If you cannot figure out a "low tech" way to get the numerical address (think hard), you will need to use an "alternative hi-tech means" to acquire the "numerical address". Add that number to the following West coordinate: W 74 00.819 That will give you the correct West coordinate. Use this with the following North coordinate: N 40 11.070 That combination of coordinates will lead you to the cache. Historical Info: This cache vanished after Hurricane Sandy on October 25, 2012 and was replaced a few months later. In addition the original Strollos Ice Cream Stand was demolished in 2017 and relocated.....across the street. The cache is in a sealed tupperware container ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These coordinates are adjacent to the Seven Cousin's favorite refreshment.You can bike from Point 1 to Point 2, or drive for a shorter trip. Afternoon and evenings are swarming with muggles. Use extraordinary stealth when searching during these times, especially during the summer. Parking is available nearby. Between the two points is about a mile or so. ~Enjoy the cache!~
