Geocache Description:

Don't try to take any shortcuts, the only way to get to this geocache is by boat! So don't try to be sneaky. Good luck, be careful, and know this: it's not rated a 5 on terrain just because you need a boat.
Enjoy the scenery here, half of the fun on this one is the trip there to find it.
Go nuts, its a beautiful area with tons of things to do, bring a fishing pole.

You must have a boat to access this geocache. Despite what your GPS might be telling you, get off of the interstate at the Whiskey Bay exit(127). Head north on the 975 then turn right on Bayou Manuel Rd. Turn left on Refuge Rd. The boat launch is on your left. It takes 6 miles once you get off of the interstate to get to the launch. Now use your GPS to bring you to GZ.
Be careful on this one, once you see it you'll know why I stress this.
Make sure you fill out the permit before you get the boat launch. You'll see the permit drop box on your right before you get more than a couple miles from the interstate. It's free to be there but if you don't follow the WMA rules, they just might fine you 350.00.
