Geocache Description:

The cache is on a long trail that connects (if you cross Slater Rd) the Hovander Park trail system to Marine Dr. of Bellingham. If you're up for a good walk this trail is perfect as its pretty long. There's some good but small spots for river access as well, so bring your swimming suit if you're willing to brave the cold waters and strong current of the Nooksack river.
