Geocache Description:

Small cliptop container logbook, pencil and a couple of small swaps.

Located close to Riverside Oval football ground, the home of the Newbridge Football Club.

The cache was placed during a YCW and Newbridge football game in 2010, YCW won the game, hence they were rewarded with the cache being named after them.

The cache was hidden prior to the January 2011 floods that decimated the facilities.

Due to the facility destruction, YCW kindly offerred their facilities located in Golden Square for the use of the Newbridge FC in 2011. Newbridge accepted this offer.

There is an image attached to this cache listing which displays the extent of the January 2011 flooding.

Country football is vital for small communities such as this. It brings people and money to the townships, aswell as giving the sense of community and provides the young footballers and netballers an opportunity to socialise.

At the time of hiding this cache, the cache owner was not aware of the bullants....The bullants are a surprising added pleasure....ummm...pleasure to the cache owner that is :)
