Geocache Description:

Welcome to a beautiful part of the ‘Ridge Trail’ that runs through Albury’s Nail Can Hill, through the Monument Hill trails & right over to the Hamilton Range where you will find this cache.

It is a fairly steep 330metre climb to the top, where you will find a clearing with beautiful views over Lavington and Albury. The walk is definitely worth it.

To get to here, you will need to follow Centaur Road, Lavington and when you reach the sharp bend you need to continue onto the gravel road, not onto Mudge street.
Parking is at S 36 01.939 E 146 52.960.

You will need to climb over the fence via the stepping poles & rails provided, and open a large gate to start your walk up the hill. Please ensure this gate is closed behind you.

The track is very popular amongst Bushwalkers, Mountain Bike riders & Horse riders, as they can come over the hill quite quickly, please ensure there is no-one about before retrieving and replacing the cache as it is not far from the main trail.

The cache your are looking for is an Ammo Tin filled with lots of goodies for the young ones, and the young at heart! This should be a nice easy find for the kids.

Please ensure it is well covered up before leaving to ensure it’s longevity, as it will be seen if its not covered well.

Enjoy your walk & the views. Happy Hunting.
