CCC: On a Lark Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Greymalkin: Multiple DNFs, and the Alondra bridge is going to be closed until sometime late next year, according to CalTrans. Time to put this one to bed. I'll see about putting something new in there when the area's available again.

Geocache Description:

One of the Coyote Creek Caches (CCC) series. The Coyote Creek Bike Trail is a Class 1 bike path that runs along the border between Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Beginning at Foster Ave. in Santa Fe Springs, it continues south to join the San Gabriel River bike path in Long Beach, passing through light industrial and residential areas along the way. It's a pleasant, easy ride, if slightly ho-hum in spots -- which ought to be livened up with a bit of cache hunting. The trail is also open to walkers and joggers.

NOTE: None of these hides will require you to enter the flood control channel itself. Please stay safe and stay out of it, even when it's dry.

(I think this is wheelchair-accessible, albeit with a little bumpy/rough going along the way, but have no way to test it myself. If not, please let me know and I'll change the terrain rating.)

GPSr reception can be very iffy in this area. Let the coords get you there, then let geosense be your guide.

Starter swag:
green plane, rainbow bracelet

Congrats to squishypets for another FTF on a marathon FTF journey!
