Geocache Description:

YOU DO NOT NEED TO ENTER THE GARDEN OR CLIMB ON THE WALL TO FIND THE CACHE. BYOP There have been several 'Finds' referencing a container inside of the garden, visible from the street. This is not mine and I do not know where it came from. The proper cache is a micro and it is definitely outside of the garden wall.

William Paca was one of four representatives from Maryland to sign the Declaration of Independence. The two acre garden was laid out by Paca while he built his house during the 1760s. Over the years it was displaced by an addition when the house was converted to a hotel. During the 1960s and 1970s, extensive excavations and research led to it's re-creation. The house and gardens are open for tours 7 days a week. For more information go to http://www.annapolis.org/contact/william-paca-house-garden Congrats to geocachingIMOP on FTF
