Geocache Description:

1948 there were 15, 1958 they peaked at 112, and by 2010 there were 15 of these places left in Tennessee.

A family gathering place or a steamy window rendezvous, people watched…or not, releases of the latest cinematic adventure, comedy or romance under the cover of darkness. It was a place to unwind, bring a lounge chair, an appetite for the food, and even a ball for the kids to play with before sunset.

The Broadway Drive-In Theatre was built in 1950. It has hosted the making of many videos over the years. These videos were with entertainers such as Vince Gill, Hank Williams Jr., Pam Tillis and Rodney Atkins. Chevrolet and Country Music have produced calendars featuring the Broadway Drive In.

In 1995/96 The Marlboro Magazine Company listed The Broadway as having the best hamburger in the U.S. called the “Broadway Burger.” It is a seasonal theater with over 60 years of history and nostalgic memories.

Parking is available and depending on the time of your search there could be high muggles in the area so; use your best stealth mode. You are looking for a small container. There are small trading items and you will need a writing apparatus.
