DBTA #3 - Jammin' Out With A Word Puzzle Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

YoungKingKole: I totally already archived this one.
The land owner obviously doesn't want anyone back there anymore. I think it just have to do with the new houses being built on top of the hill.

I've already picked up the container as well, maybe a week ago. 3 days after I archived it....

Thanks to all that visited and I'll add the code to the final so the final can be found.

PUZZLE
Once upon a time, there was a band who was jammin' out at a concert in Guelph. That night, after the concert, there was a "Meet the Band" meeting for V.I.P's only at the concert. One of the V.I.P's asked Jim, the lead singer a puzzle that was written on a piece of paper.
The paper read:

Add the same letter to each four-letter word, and rearrange the letters to spell a five-letter word. The added letter MUST always fall in the shaded grey square.(Look at the Photo Below)

Write the words across, one letter per square.

What was the secret letter that Jim had to add and how did Jim solve for the blue dots??
