I see that your cache has been “under the weather” for a period of time in excess of the period of “a few weeks” as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever. If you plan to fix or replace this cache – even if you can’t do so right away – then please log a note to the cache (not email) so that I don’t archive the listing for non-communication. If you do not wish to replace it, then please archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you reactivate the cache and/or post a note here within a month, then no further action will be taken at this time. However, if a month passes with no response, then I’ll assume that this listing is effectively abandoned and that I should archive it.
