4X4 recommended. You can get to this cache from the east,west, north or south. We came in from the south and when we left we went down Trinity Canyon to the road that heads north towards Black Rock Canyon. If you stay in Trinity Canyon the Tamarck bushes have taken over the road. Trip odometer from town to cache was 19.9 miles, moving time, 1 hour 12 minutes. We placed a cache at the Lucky Boy Mine. Turn off out of the canyon is not far past it. Easy to miss when going down the canyon.
