What is Cache to Eagle? Cache to Eagle is a series of public geocaches hidden at or near the sites of Boy Scout Eagle projects to highlight their service to the community.
As of 2010, Gerald R. Ford Jr. is the only US President to attain the rank of Eagle Scout.
Reaching the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America requires years of dedication and hard work. In addition to the 90-plus requirements and 21 merit badges, each Scout must complete a project that requires countless hours of planning, dedicated leadership, and commitment for their community, religious institution or school.
This cache features the projects of Troop 18 and Troop 3
#1 The landscaping and retaining wall around the parish house.
#2 The raised garden and cross at the entrance to the parking lot.
#3 The walking path, trees and benches just to the west of the church.
#4 The painting of the hallway, stairway, coat closet, gathering area, and outside entrance pillars along with the tinting of the west gathering space windows.
#5 The planting and replanting of trees along the north side of the church.
Five hundred plus hours was given to the church community with these 5 projects.
Please bring your own writing utensil.
