This cache is secreted in a public park which was once part of Edinburgh's botanic gardens in the 18th century. There are some unusual, out of place trees to be found here, and a pair of boards by one of the entrances to the park describe the history of the gardens and efforts to rescue and preserve the original cottage associated with it.
As well as the odd plants, the park also features a wooden "fairy ring" of carved fungi.
The cache is a micro, but to make up for this, the logbook includes a little bit about why the cache has the name it does, and some more history which you won't find on the boards.
The area is popular with dog walkers, some of whom are irresponsible, so both stealth and care will be required. It might be possible for a determined wheelchair user to retrieve it, but I can't guarantee this - sorry.
Congratulations to ramblercoast for being first to find!
Thanks to Uilebheist who is looking after this cache while I'm engaged in Extreme Fringe Avoidance.
