Geocache Description:

Another little cache in an old abandoned cemetery.

Another to add to my series. I found this on my caching travels. It is around the corner from Cottesloe, where I put another cache.
This cemetery is very small. It is considered abandoned according to the cemetery records. I counted about 7 severely weathered markers. Kidd is a common surname in this area. The area was surveyed in 1823 but it wasn't settled until 1831. There are many records for the Kidd's in the 1830-1850's. John Kidd's farm was where the school is now.
The cache is a cammo'd bison tube just like "Tashma's First". It is almost entirely covered. I decided to leave a little bit showing to make sure it can be found, but once that's been established I encourage others to cover it as well if not completely.
Remember this is a place that requires respect. Take some time to walk around and look at the headstones honouring the people of this area.
