The Prince heard the beautiful singing of Rapunzel one day while riding through the forest. After watching how Dame Gothel gain access to the tower, he followed and visited often and soon convinced her to marry. Unfortunately, Rapunzel slipped up and angered the enchantress. She was led away to a lonely spot in the forest. Then the enchantress waited with Rapunzel's cut hair for the prince. He eventually jumped from the window into some thorns and was blinded. Several days of wandering, he hears the beautiful singing. They kiss, his blindness was healed and they lived happily ever after...
