This easy cache is placed in honor of International Clown Week which is celebrated each year during the first week of August. The resolution, passed by Congress and signed by the President in 1971, commends the charitable activities of clowns who visit hospitals, nursing homes and charitable institutions.
The cache container is a small plastic sandwich size container covered in camouflage tape with room for only small trade items. It is stocked with stickers.
NO CACHING AT NIGHT is permitted since this cache is located in the woods in Woodycrest Park which is ONLY OPEN FROM DAWN TO DUSK. Please abide by the park rules. This cache has been approved by the Centre Region Parks and Recreation Department—CRPR Permit #3005463 A special thanks to Molly Hetrick of the Park Department for expediting this cache. Free parking is available on the street. Because of the park's tree cover, your GPS readings may bounce around a little. The hint should be a giveaway.
